These pieces reference the human figure, obsolete technology from the age of the steam engine, and the creative impulse. The work is personal to me in many ways as the sources of the imagery are drawn from my family and our history on both sides with railroads in the 20th century. The human figures and hands reflect my interest in making things and the drive to create.
